Countryside Rangers, maintain, improve and provide visitor management for key facilities.

Country Parks, Picnic sites, Access Areas, trails and nature reserves are all looked after by the Countryside Service and its partners.

These include; Beacon Fell and Wycoller Country Parks, Spring Wood, Crook O' Lune, and Conder Green picnic sites. Preston Junction, Warton Crag and Withnell Fold Local Nature Reserves. The Coastal Way, the Ribble Way and around 80 urban fringe reclamation schemes and amenity woodlands.
