The next event is being held on 16 July 2007 at Blackpool Football Club.
The Office of Criminal Justice Reform have now published quarterly performance tables for Local Criminal Justice Boards on agency websites.

Another new Board initiative with the first event being held on 6 June at Preston Crown Court. This is to raise public awareness of the sentencing protocol in the Magistrates' and Crown Court, with a panel consisting of a Judge, Magistrate, CPS Lawyer, Defence solicitor.
Four case scenarios will be talked through with the audience then being given the opportunity to vote electronically on which of a selection of sentences provided they thought the offender received. The true sentence would then be revealed along with an explanation as to why, identifying any contributory factors.
It is hoped to hold a similar event during Inside Justice Week.
