Olympics Cycling Tips

BUDDING cyclists are being given tips on how to stay safe by Lancashire County Council’s Road Safety Group.

Clare Farrer, Deputy Road Safety Group Manager, said:

“The success of Lancashire cyclist Steven Burke in this year’s Olympics has encouraged many people to get on their bikes, some for the very first time.”

Cycling is a great way to keep fit and is also a good way to reduce your carbon footprint, but it’s really important you know how to stay safe before you start. We have put together some top tips to help get you get on your bike safely.”

So whether you are a new or experienced cyclist, young or old, here are some reminders to help keep you safe:
