The Cyclist Workbook is available to all children aged 10 and over regardless of cycle ownership. It provides a good foundation to help children bridge the gap between using a cylce as a toy to becoming a transport choice. It contains information regarding all aspects of cycling and provides information that is cruicial to the practical elements of training included in Modules 2 (off-road) and 3 (on-road). Satisfactory completion of the Workbook allows progression to Module 2.
Safer Cyclists
The Cyclist Workbook can be delivered in either a classroom situation, which has proved to be most effective, or sent home for children to complete with the assistance of their parents or guardians.
On successful completion of the Workbook children are eligible to receive a certificate and a sticker for their 'Passport'.
