Implementation

Schools are asked to nominate up to four parents and/or friends of the school who will be trained by the Road Safety Group to implement the practical aspects of the programme. A ratio of two children per adult is recommended. With three trainers it is envisaged that one unit should take no more than half a day to complete with one class of 30 children.

All volunteers taking part in the programme may be subject to Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks at the standard level. A form to be completed by Headteachers only is available to download here
