'Right Start' relies on volunteers to deliver the programme on behalf of the school. Volunteers may be teachers or other members of staff, parents or friends of the school.
All volunteers should be processed through the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) before being allowed to conduct any training. However, this is at the discretion of the Headteacher. For information about the process please contact the Road Safety Group on 01772 534514.

To receive approval to undertake the practical training one or more persons on each course must have successfully completed an appropriate training course. Schools and other interested organisations are asked to nominate volunteers who will be trained to deliver the programme by the Road Safety Group.
A form to be completed by Headteachers only is available to download here.
Each school that has an Approved Trainer will be issued, free of charge, with appropriate resources that will enable them to conduct the training.
