If you are a Lancashire business, school, hospital or charity you can apply for a special grant that will allow you to have cycle facilities fitted at your site.
In the time that the scheme has been operating, over 1000 new bike racks have been fitted at organisations such as libraries, sports centres, offices and factories, as well as local schools and hospitals.
The type of bike rack that we fit is called a Sheffield Stand. Sheffield Stands are recommended because unlike some other types of rack,they support the bike's frame. One stand can hold two bikes.
There may also be opportunities to fund items such as cycle sheds and lockers.
