Supporting the Continued Success of Manufacturing in Lancashire is a publication produced in conjunction with private and public stakeholders by the Lancashire Economic Partnership. It represents a celebration of the continued importance and success of manufacturing industry in Lancashire. It recognises the steady transformation of the Lancashire manufacturing base into a much higher value flexible and dynamic state creating the most important centre for high technology jobs outside the south east of England. The report identifies numerous ways in which the public sector might improve its alignment with the manufacturing sector to achieve a shared vision of continued success.
